Marivon Off-Shoulder Top

REVIEW FOR THE BLACK TOP:
Very nice feel, good quality, can be dressed up, medium weight (not too thin or heavy), flattering, affordable, and durable!

As a tall girl (6’1”) with a small chest and broad shoulders, I was worried this top would not fit in the right places, but it is so flattering! The ruching looks great and there is enough coverage and thickness to forgo a bra or swap for a sticky bra as needed for the off-the-shoulder look (I would assume, though, that this works best with the darker colors). The fabric itself is stretchy and comfortable and could be dressed down, but definitely does not sacrifice the ability to be dressed up. I’ve only worn it dressed up! The only issues I have with it are that raising my arms 90 degrees makes the top slide up my shoulders, and technically the top isn’t made for broader shoulders, so it doesn’t fit my armpits perfectly. No biggie, though, since I don’t mind adjusting it decently often. And also— off the shoulder tops look so beautiful on broad shoulders! So the slight misfit in an unnoticeable area is worth it in my opinion. An issue I could see coming up for tall girls is wanting to size down because you’re skinny, but have a long torso. The top is stretchy, but if my torso were longer I don’t think it would be a comfortable length for me. I’d be pulling it down a bit, probably. If taken care of properly, I can see this top lasting a decently long time. No fraying or tearing since purchase after several wears. I will definitely buy again in more colors!

I wore this to a Halloween party as Sandy from Grease. It’s super soft! I didn’t wear any undergarments underneath nor did I have any pasties available, I was only able to get away with being that bold because it’s not sheer at all. The clinginess stays in place as I wanted the top to be tucked in my pants and it kept coming out. That’s not a flaw on the shirt however, it’s just I needed it to lay straight like a cotton top or bodysuit. It’s stretchy and very very comfortable! I’m 5’2 106-110lbs & a 32DDD, 24” waist & an XS fit me perfectly! True to color & price point is perfect for this shirt.

Very cute! It’s a little hard to keep up on your shoulders but as long as you don’t move them around too much it’s okay. Pretty good quality fabric, it’s thick and soft, not sheer.
